SMART BRAINS KENYA

Parent Dashboard
Quick Help Guide

Everything you need — short, simple, and straight to the point.

🔐
Child's Student Username
Most Important

Ask your child to write their username for you. Do not guess it — a wrong username means your registration will not work.

📋 The username looks like this:

Mother Theresa Fantoni mtf-duanekibet
Office School os-justinharmon
How to get it right: Ask your child to open the Student Section on smartbrainskenya.com and log in. If they log in successfully — that's the correct username. Have them write it for you before you register.
📱
Your Phone Number
Login Username
❌ Wrong
0712345678
✅ Correct
712345678

Enter your WhatsApp number without the leading zero. This number also becomes your login username for the parent dashboard.

📵
Not Receiving SMS?

1
Dial *456*9*5*5# and press call
2
Follow the prompts to allow all promotional messages
3
Wait 1 hour, then ask your child to request the access code again
Getting Your Account Approved
After Registration
1
Register your account on the parent dashboard
2
Contact your school's ICT teacher or Coding patron and let them know you've registered — they approve your account from the school side
3
You'll receive an SMS like this:
"Hi [Name], your Smart Brains Kenya parent account has been approved! Login at application.smartbrainskenya.com..."
4
Your child can now log in, go to Home Projects, and request an access code — which will be sent to your number
📤
Submitting Your Child's Project
For Review & Grading
1
Log in to your Parent Dashboard and tap Projects at the bottom
2
Select the project for the right child (if you have more than one linked)
3
Optionally tap Feedback to leave a note for the tutor
4

Submit for Tutor Review

Once submitted, your child cannot edit the project until the tutor responds
